Yes, I know! I'm falling way behind in this!! So I'm asking if there is anyone that would be so kind as to write this chapter's summary and it's main points for me? If not, I'll push to try to post one. Thanks

Alright, I was able to write a few things last night about this chapter, so here it is. But before that, I would like to say a few things reguarding this. First off, I would like to apologize for probably throwing all of you off. Second, Friday I will be posting chapter 6's summary/main points and the Friday after that we will be reading (and I'll be summarizing) chapter 7. I will try my best to keep up with this from now on. Now back to Chapter 5 Chapter 5: A Conspiracy Unmasked-The Brandy Hall was kind of an underground apartment house and is mostly composed of Brandybucks (hence *Brandy* Hall ). -Merry says a very catchy phrase! (That I use on occations) " 'What in the Shire is that?' " -The song that Merry and Pippin sing in the FotR EE movie is partially found in Bilbo's bath song. -Ven's Note: Tolkien has spelled the work "connection" "connexion". I'm really not sure if this is an Old English way of spelling this particular word, for I am familar with several others, like color and colour, or whether this is simpally a typo. -The band of 5 Hobbits has been cut down to a band of 4 Hobbits now that Fatty Bolger has made up his mind to stay in the Shire. -Summary: After ariving at his new home in Crickhollow, Frodo has told his friends that he cannot stay in the Shire for much longer. After he had spilled all of his beans, the other 4 confessed that they had already known of this. Frodo has told them that they will be going the next day, into the Old Forest. All of the Hobbits have give their pledge to Frodo, save for Fatty, who isn't quite ready to leave the Shire.
