Alrighty! Week 2 already! This week I will be letting you adopt people from the Race of Men. *sees people getting excited* Here are a few things about them:
Aragorn:
He is the future King of Gondor, but for now, he is just a simple ranger. He loves to sword-fight, though he will save it for when it is truly needed. He is generally a sweet guy to be around, but he will change within a matter of seconds if you meantion his sweety-hair look...
Boromir:
He is in line to be the next Steward of Gondor. Like Aragorn, he is generally nice, but never, I repeat, never ever show him the Ring! He will flip out at you and, well, you don't wanna know...But at any rate, he is cool, he's got a horn of Gondor, and he knows how to sword-fight!
Faramir: *Rev gets excited*
He is one of the sweetest men of Middle-Earth. He wants so badly to become like his older brother, Boromir, but his father, Denethor, just won't give him the love that he wants from him. Though, yes, he almost dies on a suicide mission to prove himself to his father, he is brought back by Aragorn. Yup, well, let's just forget about the fact that Eowyn got into the picture at about this point
Eowyn:
This is one tough lass! She is willing to give it all just to defend her country and her King, Theoden, who is her uncle. She just adores her many dresses, practicing with her sword, and trying to stay away from the evil Grima. She is claimed to be one of the most bravest persons in Middle-Earth for killing the WiKi (Witch-King) of Angmar.
Eomer:
He, like the rest of the characters so far, is a great guy to know. He knows how to horse-back ride, sword-fight, throw spears, and several other awsome things. He has shown his sweet side when he found his sis, Eowyn, and brought her to the Houses of Healing, there he stayed and looked after her like a hound. Poor Eomer.
Theoden:
Yup, another nice guy! Though he was a little scarey at the beginning when Saruman took him over, he is just a normal King of Rohan again. He fought at Helm's Deep (kinda) and most of all, he fought and died in the battle in the Pellanor Fields. But! Let's just forget the fact that he is dead!! He is alive and well!
Denethor:
Not quite sure why I decided to put him up here, but hey, he is afterall a Man of Middle-Earth! Well, he likes to eat! And uhh....well, he is the current Steward of Gondor....*end*
Random People:
Barliman Butterbur (Inn Keeper at Bree)
Hama
Gamling
How to Adopt Someone:
-You must write at least one paragraph explaining why you want this character and why you think you should have him/her.
-If you like two characters and want to adopt them both, write at least a paragraph per person, explaining why you want them and why you think you should have him/her. Make sure you note which character you would want more, so in the end, if I decide that your top character choice will go to another person, you will still have a second character to have.
-You may rebuttle against another member's post if they want the same character that you want, just so long as you do not harm their feelings or go over the PG limit, if you get my meaning.
-All entries must be PG or lower, as usual.
Due Date for Paragraphs: January 14th, 2005
If you have any questions, feel free to post here or PM me
Remember: You will be writing a little report after your adopted character visits you for a week. (See previous reports for more details and examples)
