With so many elves in this time frame, who is your personal favourite and why? This includes anyone from Finwe to Gil-Galad.
Personally, I really admire Feanor! His strength and determination, as well as that fire and "snap" he has, just amaze me. If it weren't for Melkor's taint, who knows what amaizing things he could have done!

I like a lot of the elves from the first age. One of my favorites being Earendil(1/2 elf: but close enough) because he fathered that elf to the left of this post.<-- Also, the second age is prolly my big elf age. Elladan/ Elrohir were born that age. And since no one knows when Glorfi was reborn (if that is what you believe) I figure he was reborn in the 2nd age since he died in the 1st age. Another 1st age elf is Elrond.... (yeah I bet you figured that) (lol) I'll stop. *shuts mouth*

lol-oh yes the Twins! I always wondered about them. Seems a shame that TOlkien didn't write about them more, so I love to read fanfic about them.

I have just found out that the twins were born in year 150( I think, that may not be the exact year) of the third age. Arwen was born a yen after them. I dont know where the source is but I am sure that Elladan was born first. I love Twin fics. They're awesome!
Okay Editing This:
The twin were born Year 130 of the Third Age. Arwen was born 111 years later not 144 as the 'yen' suggests.

Really-that's interesting. So they really aren't much older than Arwen. I always thought it was just a tradition that Elladan was the eldest-but that Tolkien never really said. I'm not sure-I think it has something to do with the way his name is always mentioned first, as would befit the oldest child. I love reading Twin fics too! There's this really cool one I read just recently, that the author needs to update. Called something like "He looses us both"

Findarato Indolgo ( sorry if I spell it incorrect ) or as we know him - Finrod Felagund . His name on Quenya means a mighty heir of Finwe and on Sindarin - adamant . When I think about Finrod in my mind always appear words like honour , loyalty , pride , dignity ... For him this is the most important . Nothing had the power to break his will on two . And only Finrod among all the other elven rulers managed to find the value of the peace with other nations - humans and dwarves .

*completely knows who Castiel is talking about* That was a very good description! He *is* a pretty amazing character. I love the way he was so willing to give up everything to go with Beren, and even ends up dying to save him. *sighs*
